Key Responsibilities Sales Execution & Revenue Growth • Support outside sales and customers with product selection, pricing, quoting, and competitive positioning • Identify dormant accounts, stalled projects, and open quotes and actively work them to closure • Track and manage sales funnels, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion Day-to-Day Manufacturer Line Management • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for assigned manufacturers • Manage daily activities including order entry, order status, expediting, returns, and issue resolution • Coordinate with manufacturers on lead times, availability, substitutions, and delivery commitments • Ensure manufacturer programs, promotions, and pricing are properly executed Order Management & Project Follow-Up • Oversee orders from initial quote through shipment and billing accuracy • Track project-based opportunities, ensuring specifications, releases, and milestones are followed • Proactively follow up on backorders, delays, and changes to keep customers informed • Maintain accurate documentation and CRM records for quotes, orders, and projects Customer & Sales Team Support • Act as a product and application resource for internal sales teams and customers • Provide day-to-day support for technical questions, alternatives, and value-engineering opportunities • Assist with project takeoffs, submittals, and specification compliance as needed Performance & Reporting • Monitor sales activity, quote conversion, backlog, and manufacturer performance • Identify gaps in coverage, product knowledge, or execution and take corrective action • Support manufacturer and internal sales meetings with data, updates, and action plans Qualifications Required • Experience in electrical distribution, manufacturer’s agency, or inside sales • Strong working knowledge of electrical products and project-based sales processes • Experience managing orders, quotes, and customer follow-up in a fast-paced environment • Proven ability to proactively sell, follow up, and close opportunities Preferred • Experience supporting outside sales and contractor customers • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and order management systems • Manufacturer’s rep or agent experience Key Competencies • Sales mindset with strong follow-up discipline • Attention to detail and operational execution • Customer-focused problem solving • Ability to manage multiple manufacturers and priorities simultaneously • Clear, confident communication with customers, sales teams, and manufacturers Working Conditions • Office/Home hybrid work schedule with phone and email driven sales activity • Occasional travel for manufacturer meetings, training, or customer visits What We Offer • Competitive base salary plus incentive structure • Benefits package • Growth opportunities within a respected electrical agency • Ongoing training and manufacturer support

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as the subject matter expert and standard owner for ALLETE Clean Energy’s FERC and NERC compliance program, ensuring the renewable generation fleet remains reliable, audit-ready, and compliant. • Provide technical oversight and guidance for substations, protection systems, and electrical equipment supporting wind facilities, including maintenance, repair, and operational activities. • Review, interpret, and communicate new or revised FERC, NERC, and Regional Entity requirements, clarifying applicability to the company’s low-impact renewable fleet and supporting facility personnel with compliance issues. • Perform and evaluate electrical studies (short circuit, arc flash, relay operation, real/reactive power, VAR control, protection coordination) using tools such as ETAP, SKM, and SEL software suites. • Lead and coordinate compliance activities including audits, self-certifications, spot checks, evidence gathering, mitigation, and program validations. • Track industry trends, emerging reliability risks, and evolving technical standards to proactively identify impacts to GO/GOP operations. • Integrate technology platforms (SharePoint, document management systems, operational data) into compliance workflows to improve documentation, evidence management, reporting, and quality assurance. Experience Required:

What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET EAC accredited program or equivalent required. Four years or more of electrical utility related engineering experience. A master’s degree in engineering may be equivalent for up to one year of related experience. Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States required with the ability to become registered in MN, WI, and ND within 6 months. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Requires high level of interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships. This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
